Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Relaaay (“Relaaay”, “we”, “us”), a service operated by Lyriryl as an individual, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, desktop agent (macOS and Windows), and mobile app (iOS and Android), together the “Service”.

Relaaay is a cross-device folder sync tool, not a cloud-storage product. When you add a file to a linked folder, we move it to your other linked devices and then delete it. We do not keep permanent copies of your files.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile information from Google to create your account.
• Device information. For each device you link, we store a device name, platform (iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS), a hardware identifier, a push notification token, a LAN certificate fingerprint, and last-seen timestamps. We use these to deliver files to the right devices and to enable LAN transfers.
• File metadata.For each file you sync we store metadata such as the filename, file type, size, a SHA-256 content hash (for integrity verification), transfer status, and expiry time. We may temporarily buffer file contents in transit (see “File handling and retention” below), but we do not retain file contents after they expire.
• Folder links. We store the folder links you create, their members, and the local folder path you choose on each device so we know where to deliver files.
• Billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (DodoPayments) handles your payment. We store a customer identifier and a subscription identifier so we can manage your plan. We do not store your full card numbers.
• Usage information. We record the amount of data you upload and download each billing period to enforce plan bandwidth limits.
• Waitlist information. If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name and how you found us.
• Diagnostic data. We use Sentry to capture errors and performance traces (which may include technical details such as IP address, device/OS information, and stack traces) so we can diagnose and fix problems.

2. How we use your information

• To operate the Service and sync files between your linked devices.
• To route transfers over your local network (LAN) or via secure cloud routing when devices are on different networks.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To process subscriptions, billing, and plan limits.
• To send push notifications that deliver files to your devices.
• To diagnose errors, monitor performance, and improve the Service.
• To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and security issues.

3. File handling and retention

Relaaay is a transfer bridge, not a backup or permanent cloud-storage service. You keep your own copies of your files on your devices.

• When your devices are on the same network, files transfer directly between them over LAN and do not pass through our servers.
• When your devices are on different networks, files are routed and temporarily buffered through Cloudflare R2 so they can be delivered to the receiving device.
• Buffered files expire and are deleted automatically based on your plan’s retention window (currently 1 day on Free, 7 days on Creator, and 30 days on Agency).
• If you delete a file or folder, that deletion can propagate to your other linked devices, depending on your folder link settings.

4. Third-party services

We rely on the following service providers to operate Relaaay:

• Supabase — authentication and database.
• Cloudflare R2 — temporary routing and buffering of files in transit.
• DodoPayments — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Push Notification service, and Expo — push notifications to deliver files to your devices.
• Sentry — error tracking and performance monitoring.

We do not use advertising networks or third-party product-analytics trackers, and we do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention and deletion

File contents are deleted automatically when they expire. Account, device, folder-link, and file metadata are retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, the associated records (including your profile, devices, folder links, and file metadata) are deleted in cascade. Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@relaaay.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures. File transfers are encrypted in transit, and we verify file integrity using SHA-256 content hashes. We apply access controls and security headers, and limit access to your data to what is necessary to operate the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

9. Children

Relaaay is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International data transfers

Relaaay is operated from the United States and uses service providers that may process data in various locations. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
